The Roofing Company recently replaced our entire roof. The house was built in three stages starting in 1956, with a pitched roof, a flat roof and a very shallow-pitch roof. The flat roof had ponding issues. Ezequiel and crew did the relatively complicated job in three days, and we are more than happy with the results. We recommend The Roofing Company without reservation.

Wonderful experience that I was terrified to have to do!! I am a 55 year old widow and my husband always handled house matters. These people were so nice and explained every detail. Wow! These folks are great. From Chris the owner, To the Crew Leader and all his workers. They showed up on time and went right to work. We have a huge roof and estimated 5 days to complete. They were done by the end of the third day and only had to com back the forth to finish a couple of items. They left the house like they were never there. I walked around and only found 1 nail and 2 plastic washers. If you need you roof done these are the one you want. Thank you Chris and all your workers.

I had a leak in the roof of my house, the roof is made of tile, I contacted Chris for a repair quote, Christ is a knowledgeable roof professional. He told me immediately what the repair would be and the materials they would use for the repair. The whole experience, from start to finish, met or exceeded all of our expectations. Chris came to our house initially for a leak estimate that we called about. Once he arrived and inspected the problem area he gave us an estimate which included time and materials. Our existing roof was 20 years old and nearing the end of its useful life. He asked if we wanted him to give us an estimate on replacing the entire roof because of the age and current condition. There was no pressure to make a decision, but presented as more of an option. We were aware of the declining condition so we opted for an entire replacement estimate. Chris gave us three options to choose from and the price for each. At the end of our meeting we shock hands and he left the estimate with us. There was no pressure to make a buying decision. A few days later we called Chris with our decision to replace the entire roof. We made an appointment for him to come to our house to sign the contract and collect the deposit. Once the contract was signed we set a date that his crew would show up and complete the work. We were told that the job should take about 3-4 days depending on the weather. We were called the day before the work crew arrived, to confirm that we were still on schedule. The crew that arrived were very neat and organized. They were able to send a 7 man crew instead of a normal 4 man crew I was told. On the first day they were able to strip the old roof off and install the underlayment for water proofing. On the second day they installed the new shingles and finished the job. Before they left, they cleaned up the whole area for loose bits of roofing materials and old roofing nails.My wife and I were really impressed with the quality and care this crew treated our property. I would recommend them to anyone that is in the market for a new roof.Ted & Belinda Pope

When the worker came to the site, they where very polite, and cleaned up after themselves without my asking. I would highly recommend this company for the replacing of any roofing type. I want to tell you about the splendid work that Matt and Tampa Bay roofing did for me on a persistent leak. He recently completed a repair on my home in Redington Shores, Florida. There is an old saying that the secret to success is to be pleasant, punctual and prepared. Matt and his tech certainly offer proof in support of this statement. Because I needed this done in the midst of other repairs and had to be coordinated with the rest of the project, it meant more than I could have imagined to work with someone in the area immediately gave me the impression of being professional and trustworthy. When I first called Matt, he made an appointment to meet with me that same day – and he kept his appointment. If you have an opportunity to meet him, the first thing you will notice, is that he is each intelligent and hard-working, and that he is that is imbued with a spirit of service and quality. He demonstrated by the warmth with which he greeted and interacted with me. To say that he was helpful to me throughout the time we worked together would be a vast understatement. Matt is not only conscientious in business, but genuinely extended concern about my situation. The work on my home was completed in a timely fashion and showed attention to detail. The roof repair was on a flat torch down roof, where some of the decking had been destroyed during the leak from heavy rains. Matt’s technician, matched the existing roof elements with precision. The Roofing Company replaced my flat roof in April 2019. Chris, the owner, came out and personally walked my roof with me and explained everything necessary to get my house where it needed to be. He wrote me a very detailed quote outlining exactly what work was to be done and what to expect upon completion. The guys were quick and completed it in about a day and a half. I would use them again.

The Roofing Company put a new flat roof on a section of my house several years ago. I was really happy with the work that was done and the guys that did it. Recently I called the office on a warranty issue regarding leak. Kimba in the office quickly got me all set up for a site visit. Dennis W. came out and solved the problem even though there was no issue with the originally install. He really took the time to make sure there were no leaks. I couldn't ask for better service. He even remembered my dog's name from when he met him at the original install. The company advertises "Old Fashioned Service" and they definitely deliver it. I am very happy with this company. From my initial call to Kimba who was great and very sure of me choosing their company, to Becky who I swear I could see her smiling through the phone she always had such sunshine in her voice not to mention kept me apprised of every step along the way. My salesman Dave was informative and patient as I had been sick when he first came out. Dennis the supervisor who came out to do a temporary fix so the water stopped coming in until they could get to my roof was very nice and spent quite a bit of time ensuring that my old roof would cause no more damage until they got here to put my new roof on. Santiz and Hector the crew leads for my house were fantastic they treated my roof and property as if it were their own. They and their crew cleaned up all throughout the days and carefully fixed all the issues found while they were here always keeping me informed of what they found and how they were fixing it. The crew they had with them had the same attitude they did and treated my home and property as if it were their own. The end result a perfectly beautiful roof that no longer leaks and my house can breathe now thanks to them. I had 7 companies out to give estimates they weren't the highest or lowest but for what they did and how it looks the price paid was well worth it! If you need a roof in the Tampa Bay area make sure to include this company in your estimates you will be happy that you did. Thanks to every one of you for a job superbly done and thank you for giving me the best looking and functioning roof in the neighborhood! They were awesome from beginning to end! Don't overlook the added no-cost features they provide... Secondary Water Barrier at no cost and a 3rd party mitigation inspection to provide additional insurance discounts. It is such a blessing to still find a company that believes and provides quality in workmanship, materials, and customer service.My mother (whom lives in Jasmine Lakes Estates) recently had her roof replaced. We assisted her in obtaining estimates (6 companies were contacted, only 5 showed and provided estimates.) Out of companies that provided estimates “The Roofing Company” was the only company that fully evaluated and explained in detail what was found and made recommendations on what was needed as well as recommendations of roofing materials to choose.The crew that did the work were outstanding, professional, did an excellent job and did an exceptional job in cleaning up as well.I highly commend the customer service. They are a very professional company. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely recommended this company to others.

This company is amazing! Choosing the best contractor to replace my roof was very stressful for me. In the past I have had so many disappointments with the performance of other home service contractors. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They were not the lowest bid I had gotten and they were not the highest. I hired them to do the work because I had a good feeling about them from the start. They did everything as promised and I love my beautiful new roof. You will not make a mistake hiring this company for your roofing needs.

Update: 12/4/2019 One of the owners came out and discussed the cause. His answer was plausible and logical. The patio is no longer leaking. The company really seems very eager to 'make things right', but I think the issue comes down to communication within the office. The gentleman stated they would work on that. Resolved from my perspective. Their willingness to make things right is what is 'right' about this company. Update 11/27/2019: There was an issue with my roof. I called the company and it took about a week for someone to come out. Dennis said he saw what was wrong as soon as he went up on roof. I only realized because the ceiling in my patio buckled from water damage. After he fixed the roof leak, he took pictures of the now un-laminated patio ceiling wood and sent them to his boss. He stated they would call me about coming out to repair. 2 weeks went by, no call. I called the office. They had no idea. So they would get back to me. another week or so no call. I call Meghan in the office and she said Dennis mentioned painting the damaged area. I said "No, that is not acceptable. The wood is now damaged and he put screws in to stop the buckling from showing, but 3 years earlier I paid 3000.00 to have that entire ceiling replaced with new wood, so it needed to be fixed." She said she would call me next day. That was about two weeks ago and I have not heard a word. I should NOT have to chase them down after paying 7000. for partial roof. This is completely unprofessional. So Far So Good. We have not had rain yet, but I am sure there will not be an issue. This project was very professional from beginning to end. Great company with excellent procedures. The crew (2 smaller groups one in front, one in back) were all very professional. Kudos to Tyler on the front crew for his extra effort on clean up and his sense of humor. A great people person.

They were very professional and family friendly. Facing the rain and bad weather they never stopped. Working late into the evening they promised not to leave until it was closed in. A couple of months ago we started looking for someone to install a new roof on our house as one of 3 main home improvements we were planning on doing. I contacted quite a few companies to get quotes from, and Chris with The Roofing Company was one of them. Not only did Chris give us the best price, turns out we go to the same church (It is a large church and I never mentioned it as I didn't want that to affect his quote or my decision). As I mentioned, Chris gave us the best price and I liked the reviews I had read so we went with his company. Our roof was installed on Monday and it looks awesome. We had windows installed last week, and the house was painted today, so now it looks like we have a new house.

Fantastic. I shopped and compared and read reviews before choosing which company to replace my entire roof. I chose The Roofing Company because of high reviews, and after such a great job on such a big project, they deserve another great review. Highlights would be the communication from the staff and even the owners to address any needs or concerns my wife and I had along the way, we were kept up to date on the status of when the job would begin after initially booking them and once begun they completed within 3 days. Roof looks fantastic and they cleaned up after themselves nicely. I would and have recommended them to friends and family. I had a 1 concern during the project, received a call from the owner that day to address it, and the rest is history. Job completed this summer, Aug 2019 in Trinity, FL.

Great company to work for. The Owners Chris and Matt are both men of honor. When they give you "Their word" they are sincere and keep it. They treat employees as family. Becky the project coordinator is on top of her game with clients and crew scheduling. Unfortunately the company restructured and my position eliminated, but as stated earlier the owners held to our payment agreement and they paid me everything earned. This might seem trivial but anyone who has been in the roofing industry as long as I have knows 90% of the roofing companies are unscrupulous and try to get over on people. It was refreshing working with people that have old fashioned morals and values.

Had them do a roof repair a few years ago and they did a great job at a fair price. Chris is a good guy and doesn't try to sell you something you don't need - and I truly appreciate that! Update to this previous post. The Roofing Company just did a full replacement of my roof and the quality of the work is outstanding. I chose this company because of their excellent reputation and many positive reviews and I was not disappointed. I am very pleased with the outcome and many thanks to field supervisor, Dennis, who did a great job keeping me informed and answering all my questions throughout the installation process. He is really customer focused. Highly recommend The Roofing Company.Chris, the owner, is a true professional. He came out to inspect my roof and provided me with a detailed estimate. He also was honest with me about what I needed, and more importantly what I didn't need. He recommended that I do some simple repairs and maintenance myself that could reduce the risk of leaks in some worn areas and that could delay the need for a new roof since I had decent life left on my shingles. He instructed me what to do and where to do it and also gave me a tube of roof cement to get me started. Wow...in today’s world this is so rare. I know who I’ll be calling when it’s time to replace the roof and I recommend that you include The Roofing Company if you need any roof work.

They came to my house within a couple days after calling them and although they could not fix my metal roof (because they don't do metal roofs), they referred me to another company who could help. Late last year, I found out I needed to have work done to my roof. I had someone come out to patch a leak, and it worked for a short while. But then one morning during a good rain, I woke up to water dripping on me in bed. I immediately reached out to friends and The Roofing Company was one that was highly recommended.I called and within a day, someone came out to inspect the roof for an estimate and also applied a good patch until they could get started. This was done free of charge, and not knowing if I was going to be using them for my roof work. So that had me sold, since another company closer to me had been bad about returning my call.Gene was the project manager for the work I had done and he kept me informed on the progress of my work. I chose to have the entire roof replaced, rather than trying to patch it. I knew it was about 15 years old. Unfortunately for me, the previous roofers used decking that wasn't up to code (1/4 inch thick, should've been at least 1/2 inch thick), and Gene let me know what was needed, and that the inspector required additional permits. It was an expense that wasn't expected, but upon seeing the previous decking and such, I'm glad it was done.In total, it was about 4 days that it took to replace my roof and all the decking, though they would've been done much sooner if it weren't for the terrible job from whomever did the work last.I am very happy with everyone who I dealt with... Chris, Gene, Sergio, Joanne. Everyone has been nothing but polite, courteous, and above all, professional. And I am also very happy with the work that was done. I'll happily recommend The Roofing Company to anyone who needs any work done to their home.

Since the moment I read the reviews and personally met with the owner Chris, I was sold! The professionalism and final results of this company was 5 star! My roof was damaged during hurricane Irma and needed replacement. Before the job began my roof was leaking into my bathroom and this company came out to tarp the roof to stop the initial leak. The entire process of the roof replacement took about one week from removing the old roof, replacing plywood and installing the new tiles. I can honestly say that we now have the nicest looking roof in our entire development. The roof was completed about 10 days ago and we have received no less than 4 separate compliments from complete strangers on how good it looks!

I have so many great things to say about The Roofing Company. I have been using their service for 5-6 years to replace all the roofs in our community. I will continue to use their service to complete the roofs which will take another 2 years. The group of men are professional, keep everything around the area neat and clean, at the end of the day everything is picked up and ready for the next day. The roofs are high quality. The buildings are two stories, a good size and they get each one done in a couple of days. The supervisior calls to bring me up to date, if I need any repairs, or if I have any questions. The cost of each roof was amazing, I received 6 proposals from other companies and The Roofing Company was so below the others, I called them immediately and never regretted my decision. A great company highly recommend!

Chris and his company exceeded expectations. Chris is very polite and professional and meets you at your property and instantly provides you his company's proposal. Their foreman and crew were professional and efficient and performed quality work. One minor complaint is they had a 4-6 week backlog from time of signed proposal to when they came out, but it was summer and that's when everyone (like me) realizes they need a new roof! Besides, I trust a company that has alot of work scheduled rather than little to none! They did keep me updated regarding their schedule though so I appreciated the communication. We obtained a quote for work that was needed. Three options were given and owner, even though he was selling the property, chose the middle pricing. Contract was signed by owner and work scheduled. Work finished 4 weeks later than promised but due to lots of rain, we didn't mind the delay too much and understand that weather can cause delays. However, on the day the work was finished a $ 134.00 permit fee was added to previous agreed contract price. Even though the line that mentioned permit on the contract was left open and owner didn't initial that line as no permit was mentioned on the quote/contract. When I called the office after we already paid the day the bill came in, the office employees became rude and said that it didn't matter that the line was not initialed as by signing the owner agreed to whatever the fine print is stating which is not saying that permit is to be paid by owner as that should have been initialed. Office employee said that owner would call me but so far no word from owner of the company. A day later I called the office back to say that owner/seller didn't mind paying for permit but the amount should reflect the $ 99.- that I saw on Pasco Permit website. Otherwise, the County should update their records if that showed to be incorrect. The answer from The roofing company employee was, "the employee explained everything yesterday", and I explained that was before seller/owner said, he doesn't mind paying for the permit as long as it reflects correct amount....the answer from this unprofessional and very rude employee was "don't call us for any other work", and then she disconnected the call. Approx. an hour later the roofing company emailed us proof of the permit amount...instead of handling this matter in a professional way, we were told never to call them and the way the billing was handled is for us a reason to follow their own advise! No word from owner who may not know how his employees will make sure to get rid of customers. Of course we want permits to be pulled for work that requires a permit but since the price a total price, the owner and our office took it as permit included in pricing as otherwise it should be specified and/or at a minimum be initialed by seller/owner of the property and roofing company should have called us to mention that initial was missing...not after the fact and just adding an amount to the bill.

The individual workers were very nice, and hardworking guys but each time they came out to my neighbor's townhome to do work they created a huge Gouge in the pavement with the ball of their truck. The Supervisor "Jean" who I spoke to said that the road damage was not a concern for him eventhough I made him aware that as a community we pay for the roads upkeep as they are privately maintained and owned by our association. Then he told me that this was impossible, he wanted to argue about the road ownership citing his real estate credentials. This is an unacceptable response. Please see photos. I must report that they (The Roof Company) did send a road fixing company out to make repairs to the asphalt that their company damaged. The repair crew decided to cut a 5' X 5' hole in the asphalt, and patch it. It doesn't look very nice but I guess that's the best that could be done short of repaving that entire section of road. This is a good company. First let me say. Any company that says they have 100% satisfaction and zero problems, RUN FROM THEM. Second, let me say, while this company does NOT make false claims, to give you a quality roof at a price no one can beat. THIS COMPANY do have pricing that I personally found no one could beat.... BY FAR... This company, like ALL companies, encounters unforeseen problems in a job. We all do.. BUT How a company handles problems is what makes the difference. This company takes on any unforeseen problem, head on, like it is a monster that has invaded their work product. . They are aggressive to find and fix whatever it is , however small, or big, as if it is their own house they live in... I'm certain these people have completed thousands of perfect jobs from beginning to end without a single problem. I am also certain they have completed thousands of jobs with unforeseen problems that popped up.. In both cases you get A job that couldn't have been done better, if you did it yourself. .

The owner, Chris, came out to give me a price to fix a leaky roof that some dirt bags put in. Gave me a price that was really close to a price that a friend gave me. I started talking to him about the scum bag company that installed the roof and he gave me some good info that I'm using to try to go after them with. Him helping me was possibly costing him a job but he didn't care. Said that they should be the one to fix it since it's still under warranty. He said to call him if I needed any more help. What a nice guy. You're not gonna find many roofers like Chris.

Chris came out on time to inspect the area that I was concerned about. After the inspection Chris gave me a very honest and detailed explanation of his findings. He explained that the part of the fascia board and roof is expensive to fix since the gutter and the pool cage are attached on that side. He said he did not see any signs of damage on the roof and suggested that we start by sealing around some screws that were holding the gutter to the fascia board. At this point, he felt the damage was cosmetic and did not feel is was necessary to make a costly repair. I appreciated his honesty and will definitely be using him for all of our future roofing needs.

Recently moved from Central Florida, had some roof issues on my new “older home' I purchase in NPR, called several roof companies with the same old salesman pitch, on the road I saw a truck with “The Roofing Company” logo. I’ll admit I am a bit anal and can over research stuff. So when I was about to spend $24K on a new roof I might have gone a bit overboard. I started by researching all the roofing companies in my area and made a list. I checked BBB, Angie’s Lists, and read other reviews. I short listed it down to 6 roofing companies. One company noted they were extremely busy and could not give me an estimate for several weeks. Another explained that I was just outside their area and they have enough work closer to their office (even though they were in the same county). I was now down to 4 companies to get quotes from.Array’s Roofing came in almost 25% higher than the next guy’s price. So I ruled them out.This left me with AUGUSTO ROOFING, THE ROOFING COMPANY, and TERRANCE MCKEEVER ROOFING. All three came highly recommend. All three were within 10% of each other. Next came the interviews. I met with all three of them and asked my dozens of questions. At the end of this exercise I could honestly say that all three would most likely do an excellent job.So how did we decide? It was their contract terms and the amount of money they wanted up front. We went with THE ROOFING COMPANY. They required a very small deposit up front. They would only require payment once they were 100% done. They also supplied me with a final lien waiver from the supplier before they asked me to pay them (very important).Chris (the Owner) dropped off a variety of samples and colors. Once we short listed our choices he gave us addresses of house that had the same color of shingle installed. This helped us select the right color. Once we finalized the color we set up an installation date (about 6 weeks out). Every Friday I got a phone call with a schedule update confirming that they were still on schedule. Once they started they used tarps on the ground to cover up the landscaping and catch all the debris that will come of the roof during this exercise. I walked the roof numerous times during the re-roof to confirm that all the materials that we agreed too were being used. I also wanted to review the quality of their work and confirm the nail pattern. All was good.The one lesson that I learned was that there are three primeary shingle manufacturers in the Florida area (Owens Corning, GAF, and Certainteed). They all have their marketing bling. They all have their pluses and minus. So we looked at them all and selected the best color for us. We also realized that the most important decision is the company that is installing them. A bad company can screw up the best shingles. If installed properly, any of the three manufacturers will last you 20+ years.Bottom line, we could not have been happier with our choice. Chris was incredibly patient with us and very comfortable to work with. I would highly recommend THE ROOFING COMPANY to friends and family.I hope this review helps you and good luck on your new roof!

Chris came out for a quote on a persistent leak on the false roof above my garage. I was expecting some shingle work was needed, he traced the problem to the J frame at the bottom of the stucco and some minor cracks. He repaired these free of charge and even included a new tube of sealant and some advice for repairing myself. Overall extremely satisfied and happy with the service. The price was right and they stuck to the contract as agreed. Oh and not to forget Dave Page, thank you sir as it was a pleasure meeting with you and getting this whole thing started. Finally, a roofing company worthy of repeat business. I've gone thru' 3 others (investment homes) and glad I found these guys to do my personal residence and the last of my rentals. Excellent workmanship and very professional. Showed up as expected and the jobs were completed in a timely manner (a new roof plus they coordinated replacing my crappy gutters). The crews were polite and careful about leaving the job site tidy at the end of each day. Very impressive. Not only would I use them again -- I DID use them again!

The Roofing Company did a great job on our new roof. Chris was awesome and was very patient as we wanted to make sure we picked out the perfect roof - he even brought us samples of several options we were considering. During the experience I talked with just about everybody in the office, each of which was very courteous and professional. A neighbor recommended the roofing compay for us and we have passed on that recommendation to several of our freinds after after having a great experience. It is always nice to work with an honest company that does what they say and does great work.

Kimba, Office Manager is FANTASTIC !!!!! The Roofing Company re roofed my home a few years ago. Developed a leak recently. I called the office to inform them that I needed a service call.
Kimba answered the phone and took it from there. She had a technician scheduled and called back to inform me of the date of repair and followed up to verify service was completed correctly.

Regarding the technician, Shawn was outstanding. He did his due diligence and identified the problem with a leaky Lanai roof. He developed a resolution and solved the problem.

We closed on our house on August 10th 2018 . We contacted the seller, because 3 days later the back flat roof started leaking . We were under the impression that new roof were installed on the whole house . Turned out that that wasn’t the case . The company didn’t have a contract with the seller on the flat part of the roof . Seller didn’t show any interest resolving the issue . Chris ( owner of the roofing company) saw the problem needed to be rectified , regardless of payment. For no extra money whatsoever. Chris sent a crew to come to the house to put on a new roof , because patching the roof wouldn’t have been enough . This is way above and beyond what a roofing company is expected to do . Honesty and integrity is what this company is all about. We are highly recommend this roofing company to anyone.

My roof was finished this evening. I have heard compliments already about how nice the roof looks. The men did a nice job cleaning up each evening. They even go around together with a magnetic piece on wheels to collect the nails each day. All were very hard workers. I felt very comfortable having them at my home.
