They couldn't help me with my flat roof issues BUT made suggestions and actually did a couple of things to help my regular roof at no charge. I will use them in the future for my primary roofing needs. Thank you Jeff for being that helpful and honest roofer!

Had a new roof installed by The Roofing Company of Tampa Bay .The staff Sarah, Jena and Dennis were very cordial and very helpful with my needs. The crew that did the replacement were a crew of seven. I watched them work and it was so easy for them to take a " shortcut" here and there, especially in the brutal heat. You can see them working out the smallest deficiency. They all worked together as a team.The city came out for inspection. I had to ask what roofing co. he thought was the best? then several days later I ask the Mitigation person for insurance who he thought was the best... Keep in mind they see the work of many so-called roofing companies . The answer from both:" The Roofing Company of Tampa Bay".I did not get to meet the owner. I believe his name is Matt.Matt, an old military saying "You done good"Thank you for a very professional 'A TEAM' start to finish job..

Matt the new owner is honest and respectful.. I had my roof put on about 6 years ago with this company and unfortunately the previous owner didn't submit my roof warranty without my knowledge.. Matt the new owner did what was right and had my warranty reinstated and through the whole process he was very informative and kept in touch through the whole process with any questions or concerns I had .. We were the envy of the neighborhood when our roof was replaced by The Roofing Company. Dennis helped us tremendously in choosing the perfect roof, checked on the progress and, communicated with us. I came across the roofing company after seeing an advertisement on one of their trucks. We needed a roof replacement. After speaking with two other companies we decided to go with them. Charlie James who came to quote us was very patient, quick and responsive in everything we asked or needed. All of the company staff, from the phone calls to the office to the crew supervisor Dallas, have all been kind and respond quickly to any questions/help we have needed. I highly recommend them, genuinely an efficient, knowledgeable and reliable company/service.

After my husband and I vetted 8 roofers from the State of Florida authorized MSFH contractors list, these guys met and exceeded all our requirements.Honesty.You don't meet Charlie James, sales exec, you make a friend. Charlie ran all over the place to find us a unique item we wanted, asking nothing in return. He discusses waste and hidden damage up front, unlike most roofers. Always available, no telephone tag. A real pro.Workmanship,exceptional curb side appeal. Dallas and Carlos kept us up on status throughout the job. Great follow up.Cleanliness:not a nail, nothing left behind, bushes covered, several passes with the magnetic equipment. Even hand cleaned the roof drip/fascia. Who does this?Price:all things considered, the absolute best value. We are very satisfied.I wish this kind of honest unbiased review was already posted, it would have saved us a lot of aggravation. I contacted the roofing company to have repairs done on my roof, which was a small job. Dennis contacted me and came out to inspect my roof and gave me a fair quote for the work that needed to be done. The hard part about the repair job is my roof is older tile roof and he had to go find the discontinued tiles to match my roof. Dennis was very professional the entire time I dealt with him did the agreed upon repairs within the timeframe we had agreed-upon. I am very happy with the services I received and would recommend them to others.

I just had a full roof replacement a few days ago and I could not be happier with how it turned out! The roofing crew worked really hard removing the double layer of shingles. The crew did a great job on the roof. They also cleaned my gutters out and cleaned up all the debris in the yard. They left my property in pristine condition. You would never even have known they were here except for the new roof! The field manager Dennis Wood also did an excellent job. He was friendly, on time, and answered all of my questions. I would recommend The Roofing Company to everyone! They did a great job and did not waste any material for a very fair price! Use them for your roofing needs you won’t regret it!

He took his time to explain the condition of our roof, and was very thorough in his inspection. After a large storm we noticed water damage on the ceiling. We contacted The Roofing Company to inspect the roof (installed by a different roofing company) and determine the damage. Their quick and prompt response time was beyond impressive arriving at our location the next day. We were greeted by Mr Jeff Lee who was extremely polite, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Upon thoroughly reviewing our roof Jeff was able to communicate our issues in basic yet detailed terms, there was no “upselling” or over-explaining trying to make a larger “sale”. We appreciated Jeff’s honesty, and his experienced and knowledgeable background in repairing our damaged roof. It seems these days it is difficult to find a company that you can trust, but The Roofing Company and Jeff Lee truly cares about their clientele and the families that live under their roofs. Our roof was severely damaged after being struck by lightning during a recent storm. After receiving several different estimates we contracted with The Roofing Company to do the repair. One of the reasons for doing so was their outstanding reviews. Another reason was because they don't use sub-contractors, only full time employees of the company. Every interaction I had with anyone from the company, from Jennifer Melo in the office, Matt on the telephone, and professional roofers RJ and Jose left me feeling confident we chose correctly. RJ and Jose did an outstanding job with the repair and I highly recommend The Roofing Company over any other in the Tampa Bay area.

Even though I had a leaking roof, The Roofing Company made it a great, no stress experience. I had went through this company for a full removal of old shingles, and installation of new shingles on my first home. i had Dennis W come out for a quote at first, he answered all my questions. with Matt helping me through the process to get approved financing was also super easy, and took less than 20 minutes! after i had all my ducks in a row, my roof was scheduled for install the week later, and Carlos and his crew got it done in just one day! so far, i have not experienced any problems after the fact such as leaks. also went up there and walked around and roof was sturdy, no loose spots, etc. Dakota came out after the fact to look over the finished project, and answered any questions or concerns i had. i will definitely continue to use this company in the future for all my roofing needs, and will recommend them to others. again, a BIG shout out to Dennis, Matt, Dakota, and Carlos!!!

This company was excellent! They installed a new roof on my home last year. They gave me references of other homes I could look at where they've installed roofs, and were great working with my solar company. All the work was completed within a couple days, and they didnt leave a mess. Everyone was professional and nice, and the quality of the work was great! I love my new roof. Its been several months, several storms later, and we have no issues. Highly recommend this company! I should also say, they weren't the least expensive quote, but the professionalism and quality of work was worth the extra paid over others quotes. I wish you installed gutters!

First of all just let me say that this was the easiest and most pleasant experience I have had from any contractor that I have dealt with in quite a long time. Dennis came out to give me an estimate and was very knowledgeable and professional. He went over all my choices and different costs and warranties. When it came to doing the job, the crew came on time , set up and started the job in 20 minutes. Ezekiel saw me and asked if I had any questions or concerns at which time I told him that I didn't because Dennis explained the job to be done so well. After the job was completed, the crew went above and beyond with the clean up. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience with The Roofing company. It stains concrete. Owen's claims they all do it . Which of course is NOT true . My advise don't get the Owen's products...YMMV.

An exceptional roofing company. Salesman and Supervisor Dennis Wood was very knowledgeable and professional when inspecting my roof to provide an estimate and responsive after the sale. I'm giving 5 stars to The Roofing Company for their excellent service and quality job! I got estimates from 3 other roofing companies that were outrageously high. Then I met Matt Lentz the owner of the roofing company. I found him to be a man of high integrity. He was very fair with his quote, and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. I highly recommend Matt and The Roofing Company if you need a new roof. They also installed double hurricane tie down straps at a very fair price. That helped lower my homeowner's insurance premium in a big way! Many thanks to the Roofing Company for honesty, integrity and a quality job!

I wanted a quote for my roof because I know cost are going up and wanted to know what the life was on my roof. Although I have not made a final decision on when to do the roof. The roofing company was doing a roof for my neighbor. I called 3 contractors. Out of 3 roofing contractors i called, none of them made the appointment on time. The head supervisor Dennis Wood who was kind enough to come over and give me a fair assessment after I approached him. He was very knowledgeable, answered all questions and very kind. His experience in the business is very apparent. He did not try and push the sale. Very polite. Thank you Dennis and the roofing company for giving me faith that there are still good honest people out there.

We had a hard time finding someone to do a very small repair job in our home. I called the roofing company on Monday, they had someone come look at the damage next day and the repair was scheduled and completed by Thursday of the same week. They were recommended to me by my neighbor who just had their roof replaced they weren’t the cheapest but I went with them because they were honest and reliable Matt the owner was great and helped he with questions I had later down the road The roofers came out set up tarps and did a great job they got it all done in one day they even went around the whole yard looking for nails and cleaned up after there self I would recommend them you can’t find an honest company anymore 10/10

Here's why TRC gets 5 stars: They were friendly, fast quote, didn't try to jam me on prices, gave me a really fair price right out the gate and showed up on time and did quality work. I called 4 companies for a new roof estimate.The roofing company was the first to show up. The only one that actual made the appointment on time. Before they left they handed me a written estimate. I signed the contract gave them the deposit and a week later they showed up with a crew. Stripped the roof and had it back on in one day by 2pm. Cleaned up everything and the next day the owner stopped by to make sure everything went smoothly. If you need a new roof ASAP. This is the crew. I flip houses, and I will be working with them again.

In our community, the homeowners association is responsible for roof replacements. We initially solicited a contract to do the first 11 buildings. In the bidding process, we spoke with Matt Lentz and Chris Hloska at The Roofing Company and were very impressed with their responses to all of our questions. We were especially impressed with the quality of the roof shingles and other materials they use. Not so much with some of the other bidders. The Roofing Company bid was the lowest and there were no extra fees. Once the roof replacements began, their crew ensured that they proceeded smoothly and quickly. They always left a clean job site at the end of every day. Their project supervisor, Dennis Wood, was instrumental in this process. He quickly resolved any issues that occurred and always kept us informed as the job proceeded as to when the work crews would be here and the status of any pending issues. In the end, the 11 buildings were completed in the time frame specified at the beginning of the job. In summary, we were very impressed with The Roofing Company and would highly recommend them for anybody having a roof replacement job done.Ken Mason

The Roofing Company made this a great and easy experience. Dennis gave an honest assessment and the quote was very reasonable. Even came out during the project to check up and answer questions i had. My wife’s 94-year-old mother had to have her roof replaced and we were fortunate to find The Roofing Company. Dennis Wood showed up on time to measure her roof and talk to a very nervous woman about what needed to be done. He was very professional, caring and patient and taking time to explain every step in great detail and set her mind at ease that everything will turn out fine. I spoke with several roofing contractors and this was the best. Dakota Humbert did an outstanding job seeing the project through from beginning to end. The crew did an excellent job. They were extremely professional. I’m 70 years old and this wasn’t my first rodeo. My previous experience was detecting fraud for the United States Department of Justice. If you don’t use this company you’re shooting yourself in the foot. The other companies I spoke with offered discounts by raising the price on other items. Dakota was unlike any contractor I’ve ever used. He was honest, reliable and trustworthy. Nicole Martin at his office went out of her way to accommodate me. This was a top rate experience. I’m so happy I chose the right company. They guarantee their work. If a hurricane hits St Petersburg, I feel comfortable in my home.

I worked with The Roofing company for a reroof on a recently purchased home. Initially, I met with Dennis Wood who drove out of his way to where I was staying at the time to meet with me in person and talk over the different options and shingle selections. Dennis was professional, helpful, easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Throughout the whole process, Dennis and the staff in the office were available, responsive and pleasant to work with. When the reroofing work started, it was off and on in under two days. With the way materials and resources have been lately, I was very happy to find my roof was put on without a hitch.

I cannot say enough good things about The Roofing Company. I am so happy that I chose them to install a new roof on my house! They were amazing from beginning to end! I initially spoke to Nicole who was so incredibly helpful and answered all my questions. She even put together a whole package of required paperwork for my HOA the same day it was requested. She was such a pleasure to talk to and reassured me every step of the way. Then there was Charlie who came out that same day and gave me an amazing price on a new roof. Then there was Dennis, the supervisor who showed up in person the day of the installation to check and make sure that I was satisfied with everything. And of course, let's not forget the workers. Bless those guys! it was a hot day and not only were they on time, they were actually early! They even came the day before the installation to drop off all the materials so that they would be ready to go the next day. And boy they hustled every step of the way. I've never seen anyone work so hard in my life! They finished my roof in less than one day. They even cleaned up all the debris around my house. When they finished there was not a speck of dirt left on my property. This company provides quality work, they are efficient on every level, affordable, honest and such a pleasure to work with. The congregation here at Palm Harbor desperately was in need of three (3) roofs. We contacted several roofing companies and only two replied with substance and knowledge, but one exceeded the others, and it was "The Roofing Company."I met Dave and we talked about all the aspects of work to be done. We met a few times and then the congregation met to discuss the options provided by Dave from the company.He answered all our questions and even had a Sunday night phone call to answer more (now that's dedication and customer service).Dave went above and beyond to get us the right roof for our needs, he also was on point with the estimated costs as well as the time frame for work to be done. We were expecting a month out for work to be completed but there was an opening and Dakota the field supervisor contacted me and was ready to begin work within a week.Permits were pulled and the work began.I (minister) asked questions and stated things that were concerns to me, and Dakota answered and if needed took care of those concerns of mine. Dakota even stated that if I wanted the crew to wear pink shirts (LoL), he would go buy them, that's how much he wanted to please us the customer.I grew up in the construction field, and I know all the aspects of construction. The crew that Dakota sent out to do these roofs, did an excellent job! I was watching and they really preformed like a well-oiled machine. All three buildings needed wood repair and of course me watching (off and on), I knew this. I saw the problems and the crew ONLY replaced what was needed to be replaced.I told Dakota some of my past credentials and said I do not want any frivolous repairs and that we as a congregation would not pay for that type of work (not saying the company would do that, but growing up in Florida and many hurricanes and dealing with roofing companies, well you know, some bad apples spoil the rest). Anyway, he assured me this would not happen and as I said earlier, I was watching (but not directing/going through Dakota etc) and Dakota held true to his word. Not one piece of wood was replaced that didn't need it!On one building the old plywood was wavy and that was because truss blocks were not used where the ends of the plywood meet, thus causing no way to nail said plywood and the ends were just floating. I witnessed his crew remove the bad plywood and then access the attic to install wood blocking from truss to truss to support the new plywood. Now that is top notch work and going beyond to make the job right, and what some roofing companies in the past have neglected, hence, the blocks were needed.All three roofs are now up to code and we can rest easy.All three roofs were completed in three days and that is a lot of roofing material and a lot of work for two out buildings (1500sqft) and a big church building.The crew also came back on Saturday and cleanup up every bit of trash and just did a excellent job!Dakota came by to do a final once over and walk the roof, everything was fine. We then proceeded to write the checks, but before that, we requested a release of lien for the material and work done. Dakota showed me the release of liens and we wrote the check, then he sent the releases to us. It was a pleasure working with Matt, Dave, and Dakota on this job and the professionalism by all.THEY DID IT RIGHT!If I ever needed another roofing job, guess who I'm going to use, yep, "The Roofing Company," (Matt, Dave, and Dakota).If you want to take a look at their work, then you can swing by the building here in Pam Harbor.Thank you again for a great professional job, I couldn't have done it better, nor directed a crew better.We really appreciate the peace of mind and the extended warranties to keep that peace of mind for years to come.

He walked me through what to expect when his team arrived and why his company used the brands they did.Ezikiel and his team did an amazing job. We had multiple quotes with different companies! The roofing company wasn’t the highest and wasn’t the lowest but came with more items included! We need our roof done as soon as possible as the last company did not pull a permit on our roof! We need a new roof to keep our insurance! Charlie Gilantzis was awesome with our quote process and explained everything well; he followed up with the crew when they were working. The estimate included potential extra costs due to age of the roof and possible damage found when dismantling the old roof. We are delighted to give Matt and The Roofing Company a 5 star review on our roof install on our newly purchased home. Our install was a bit more complicated as we also have a solar system. Matt worked hand in hand with Bay Area Solar Solutions which in turn, greatly reduced the stress levels.

The crew began rolling in early. Jose and Chris kept us updated throughout the day. This crew worked their tales off! What impressed me the most was not only their work ethic but their workmanship! From start to finish, they worked like pros, in calculated steps, all in unison - each worker with an identifiable job at hand. It was pretty cool to watch.

In fact, as the trucks pulled out, workers were picking up any stray nails left behind under their vehicles to protect our vehicles from punctures. Chris’s crew (Jose and workers) definitely deserve a 5 star review as well! . #GoingTheExtraMile

Truly the absolute best! There are some roofers/contractors that simply cannot be counted on or trusted (let’s face it- this is FL), and then there’s Dennis. Fantastic. I shopped and compared and read reviews before choosing which company to replace my entire roof. I chose The Roofing Company because of high reviews, and after such a great job on such a big project, they deserve another great review. Highlights would be the communication from the staff and even the owners to address any needs or concerns my wife and I had along the way, we were kept up to date on the status of when the job would begin after initially booking them and once begun they completed within 3 days. Roof looks fantastic and they cleaned up after themselves nicely. I would and have recommended them to friends and family. Finally, a roofing company worthy of repeat business. I've gone thru' 3 others (investment homes) and glad I found these guys to do my personal residence and the last of my rentals. Chris was awesome and was very patient as we wanted to make sure we picked out the perfect roof - he even brought us samples of several options we were considering. During the experience I talked with just about everybody in the office, each of which was very courteous and professional. Kimba, Office Manager is FANTASTIC !!!!! The Roofing Company re roofed my home a few years ago. Developed a leak recently. I called the office to inform them that I needed a service call.
Kimba answered the phone and took it from there. She had a technician scheduled and called back to inform me of the date of repair and followed up to verify service was completed correctly.

Regarding the technician, Shawn was outstanding. He did his due diligence and identified the problem with a leaky Lanai roof. He developed a resolution and solved the problem.

We closed on our house on August 10th 2018 . We contacted the seller, because 3 days later the back flat roof started leaking . We were under the impression that new roof were installed on the whole house . Turned out that that wasn’t the case . The company didn’t have a contract with the seller on the flat part of the roof . Seller didn’t show any interest resolving the issue . Chris ( owner of the roofing company) saw the problem needed to be rectified , regardless of payment. For no extra money whatsoever. Chris sent a crew to come to the house to put on a new roof , because patching the roof wouldn’t have been enough . This is way above and beyond what a roofing company is expected to do . Honesty and integrity is what this company is all about. We are highly recommend this roofing company to anyone.

It is difficult to find a roofer who is willing to do a repair and typically they will try to sell you on a New roof. Not Pride! Chris came out and did an inspection on my barrel tile roof as it had been leaking for some time over my front porch area. He gave an estimate to repair, spelled out exactly what work would be performed, all cost involved and materials he anticipated using. The crew showed up yesterday and in half a day they were done, cleaned up and gone. Couldn't ask for better service! Licensed, Insured and bonded!
